The Essentials 1-7 + Reader + ROH adds two additional components for use alongside Essentials if you are teaching a struggling reader.

• The Essentials Reader Set
• Either the Rhythm of Handwriting Cursive Set or the Rhythm of Handwriting Manuscript Set.

Together, these three programs create a complete and effective reading intervention. 

If you used Foundations

Essentials 1-7 After Foundations Set is designed for those continuing to Essentials from Foundations. This set includes the materials to begin Essentials but does not include the core materials, such as Basic Phonogram Flash Cards, that are also used in Foundations.

What's next after Essentials 1-7?

Upon completion of either Level A, B, or C in Essentials 1-7, the next step is to begin the units in  Essentials 8-15 Set. The Essentials 16-22 Set and the Essentials 23-30 Set will be necessary to complete all 30 Essentials Units.
