Foundations Online Supplement
The Foundations courses have been developed for young students. They supplement the printed Foundations curriculum. They are a great resource for teachers who are new to the curriculum or who need additional independent practice activities for their students.
Do I need to purchase anything additional for the Foundations Online Supplement?
Yes, the Foundations Online Supplement is designed to accompany the Foundations printed curriculum. The online supplement is not a complete curriculum. The Foundations Readers and assessments are not included online.
What is included?
- Videos: The Foundations Online Supplement includes video lessons for most content in Foundations.
- Activities: The Foundations Online Supplement also includes digital games and activities for students to complete under the supervision of their teacher. The activities can replace or complement the activities in the printed curriculum.
- Songs: In Foundations A, B, and C the songs from Doodling Dragons, Whistling Whales, and Knitting Knights respectively are included.

How will I know how my student is doing?
Using the printed Teacher’s Manual, teachers will give students an assessment after every fifth lesson. Teachers will also monitor the progress of students throughout the lesson through both hands-on and digital activities. At this point, data from the online activities are not recorded, so teachers will need to monitor progress.
